How To Verify Working With Children's Checks

The Safe Church Officer (SCO) needs to first register with the NSW Office of the Children’s Guardian as an Employer and obtain login authorization to do subsequent verifications.

To do the verifications:

• Login https://wwccemployer.ocg.nsw.gov.au/Login with the Username and Password
• For each person, enter the:
  • Surname
  • WWCC reference Number
  • Date of birth
• Click Add
  • The Verification status will be displayed
  • Download the report
  • Record the result in the Synod CRM (instructions on how to do this coming soon)
    • You will be notified of any relevant events eg expiry due
